We are deeply saddened by the passing of Alan Lee Broude, whose volunteer service as treasurer and chair of the Board for Family & Children’s Counseling Center (predecessor to Family & Children’s Place), helped make the community a much safer place for children. Alan passed away last week in Boca Raton, Fla. We send sympathies and prayers to his wife, Kathy, children, grandchildren and friends, and recall his servant spirit. Family & Children’s Place invites community to give Care Cards

Gift cards from major retailers will give children, families a hand up during their recovery LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Sept. 19, 2017) – Family & Children’s Place is launching its Care Card program. We are thrilled to be able to share that Family & Children’s Place has partnered with four other local nonprofits to create a new shared services group called ImpactV. The other founding agencies of ImpactV are Boys & Girls Haven, The Center for Women and Families, Dreams With Wings, and Zoom Group.  The agencies, pillars in the community in their respective service areas, have combined budgets nearing $27 million and employ more than 400 individuals. We depend upon this 24-hour donation drive to support the critical services we offer to the Louisville community.
