Teen suicide seminar set

picCentral High School PTSA is hosting for the third consecutive year, suicide prevention training for students and parents.

Suicide is the second leading cause of death among youth, and suicide is preventable if you know how to recognize when someone is in crisis and how to help them.

The suicide prevention session is March 17, in the Central High School senior cafeteria, 1130 W. Chestnut St. The session starts at 5:30 with registration. Guest speaker is Stephen M. Ulrich with the Suicide Prevention Association. Carol Smith also will talk about nutrition and food facts.
