Former Miss America to Deliver Keynote at Family & Children’s Place Breakfast

Family & Children’s Place Building Brighter Futures Breakfast will take place from 8-9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at the Seelbach Hotel in downtown Louisville. Registration for the breakfast, which benefits the agency’s work with abused children and families, begins at 7:30 a.m. This year’s keynote will be delivered by former Miss America and incest survivor Marilyn Van Derbur, who has been the television spokeswoman for AT&T, hosted The Bell Telephone Hour, 10 shows of Candid Camera, The Cotton Bowl Parade, Thanksgiving Day Parade, and the opening of The World’s Fair. April Child Abuse Awareness Rally

Rally to End Child abuse at the Big Four Bridge today. Building Brighter Futures Breakfast

The 2014 Building Brighter Futures Breakfast will be held on Thursday, April 17th at the Seelbach Hotel. Guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary breakfast while members of Family and Children’s Place present a first-hand look at some of our programs and services and will conclude with a request for donations.
