Kentucky’s 43rd annual Kentucky School of Alcohol and Other Drug Studies (KSAODS) will be held July 17-21, 2016, at the Crowne Plaza in Louisville, Ky.
Featured this year are 82 workshops and 48 presenters, including many national speakers offering insight on current topics in the field. Annually, as many as 700 Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio professionals who work in alcohol and drug treatment, mental health, prevention and other related fields gather to up-and-coming theories of practice in the behavioral health world.
You can find a copy of the course catalog as well as a registration link here: http://dbhdid.ky.gov/dbh/ksaods.aspx (Look to the menu bar on the right side of web page for the 2016 Catalog.)
KSAODS begins on Sunday afternoon with a participant check-in, followed by an opening plenary. Daylong workshops begin Monday morning after an opening plenary, and KSAODS will follow that format each day through Wednesday. There is no plenary on Thursday to allow two, three-hour session offerings.
Certificates of Attendance and CEUs will be available for a variety of professional licensure boards. The cost of attendance is $450 for the entire week or $125 for a single day’s registration. The cost of daily lunch and Tuesday evening banquet are included in the weekly registration fee.
